Juergen Knautz, was born on the 27.6.1961 in Dortmund, is an internationally acclaimed Contrabass playerand has played for Silvia Droste, Greetje Kauffeld, Beverley Dailey, Wayne Bartlett und Knut Kiesewetter. Jürgen is just not fixed on Jazz,indeed his range is very broad. He has played with the great sax players Gerd Dudek, Charlie Mariano und Lee Konitz.Jürgen has played on 2 Albums with the german swing-legend Goetz Alsmann.Even Tommy Emmanuel,the famous austraian guitar player has requested his services on his European Tour or indeed Victor Smolski for his spectacular Bach-production. Juergen Knautz Musician, Composer and Arranger for Radio and TV,as well MD for International Shows of all kinds.
